Me and my partner stayed here for one night, could not complain at all for the price, bed was very comfortable and the hotel is in an ideal location, the manager was very friendly and made check in very easy, she answered all my questions with no issues: however upon arrival the key box was already open, the towels had a few stains on but that can be expected.
The other guests were quite loud on the night and early morning however could not fault the service and the room; we would return:)

We stayed here for one night. We were greeted with an unclean room. After a few attempts to make contact, we finally got through, and we were offered another room, which was made up, clean bedding and towels etc but still not the best. I wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately.

Had a wonderful weekend stay at Lily rose hotel! The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect for exploring. The breakfast was delicious. I’d happily stay here again—highly recommended!

Clean and tidy, good location, hot shower, good communications beforehand. Cosy room with not a great deal of space. The bed was a little small and not the most comfortable, but more than adequate after a long day out, but it might be problematic for a longer stay. Parking was not the easiest but it was an unbelievably busy weekend!

Can't complain to much for the price we paid for the room.
Room was ok, bed not very comfortable, shower was nice and hot but the mugs at the coffee station were not clean.
The location is great only minute walk from sea front

On arrival our key was not in the coded box, called the mobile number provided, they did apologise and said they would be with us in a minute. 20 minute's passed by and we called again to find out what was going on, apparently someone had taken our key so they gave us another room. The room is basic and has what you need, it was clean but was just not to our taste, we all have personal preferences. The heating was on full blast in the room so when you walked in, it was like a sauna and uncomfortably hot. A fan was in the room but again, basic so did nothing. Location was okay, we ended up parking in the west cliffe due to no spaces around, plus as we couldn't get in the room till gone 3 to get the scratch card supposedly provided. Which it wasn't. Very unclear, another guest didn't have there's either. Definitely not for us, was okay for one night but wouldn't stay again.

The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were really comfortable were OK with the rooms however we booked a double and a twin but we ended up with two double rooms not ideal as my grandson did not wish too share with me and slept on the floor for three nights. Also when we booked it said that there was space for a few cars there was two which stated on the sign that they were for hotel staff only. This other thing on the booking site said that an a la cart breakfast would be available on site, well that wasn't there either . I don't think it's somewhere we will stay again .

Good overall. I stayed here for 3 nights (£328 in total, which I thought was a bit too expensive for the value). Clean room & friendly staff. Room was quite spacious, which meant it was cold. Good thing the heating was on otherwise the room would have been freezing as the building is quite old and it reached below 10 at night, even though it's July! I expected this so I brought my winter pyjamas & slippers (it's cold to step on bare floor; there are no carpets). I would recommend for a 1 night stay or 2 maximum.

I believe this was sold as bed and breakfast, however, breakfast was recommended at the dingiest pub down the road (the granby - don't bother).
We was in room 17 and the front door slammed all night (recommended installing a slower door stop).
Shower pressure was very poor.
Checkin and parking was easy.
I wouldn't recommend this place and unfortunately I wouldn't stay again.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, they were clean, comfy rooms, with a lovely view towards the Abbey in the double room. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect too, 5 minute walk from both the beach and harbour.

Really enjoyed the self service aspect. The room was lovely and clean with a good shower/toilet en-suite. There was all the facilities you could need like tea and coffee making, a hair dryer, and saw an ironing board and iron on the way to our room. We would definitely stay again. It's also a great location close to the sea front, whale bones and the spa pavilion.

Staff no show arrived late at night had to mess about trying to get in the key boxes on the wall we had to phone them several times for the code had 2 rooms on the top floor witch was a struggle for my partner as she as trouble climbing stairs there was no wardrobe in any of the rooms on the top floor we did not see any staff all the time we where there the next morning when we checked out we we found out that the hotel had taken 35 pounds out off my friends Bank account for damage they said we had done we asked them several times show us proof off the damage we heard nothing back from the hotel about the sospoused damage we had caused just want to let others know about this bad experience we had with this hotel so it doesn't happen to others people who are thinking about booking with this hotel would definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody all they seem to care about is trying to get as much money as they can from you

Nice hotel close to the centre of Whitby which was great. Comfortable and accommodating, only issue was the shower was poor but could have been down to water pressure maybe?

Stunning hotel with the most beautifully decorated rooms.
The location is very close to the centre of Whitby with ample street parking outside.
